I lightly applied paint at an angle to keep it from getting on the fins.
It's a real light paint. It's actually a primer. I just dusted the intercooler to get it black.

don't worry. It's not a significant amount of paint, and it's so light that it will HARDLY affect anything.
if you look at my other pictures from today, you can see the fins are still shiney aluminum if you look at it straight on.

still in progress. I need to weld some stuff up and cut few more pieces.
I have most of the passenger (turbo) side of the piping done and some of the driver's (engine) side done.
I'm trying to put as few hose clamps in as possible (more places to leak you know) so I'm going to be welding a lot of pipe. It won't be pretty because I'm a mediocre welder, but it'll be ALL mine like the rest of my car!
