I guess the cold blooded little suckers crawl in the warm engine bay at night... When the intrepid car owner wakes up early in the morning to get to work and starts the car - the snake runs the risk of getting "caught up in the works" and flung around in there. *shudder*

wasn't there a story about 3 kittens that were in a truck's engine the other year? i think it was in the star bulletin a couple years back. the owner heard these mellows during is 25 mile drive and at the end he still heard it. after popping the hood he found 3 kittens cuddled up. alive and doing good. talk about nine lives.
