Unhappy What 6K$ got me?

Went to the track and left with the biggest case of disapointment ive ever had. all that money for stock times, crappy if you ask me, but i do have two alibis

1. my clutch is gone and the engine went straight to red line after second and third gear shifts

2. my best launch was a .586, again doo doo

my best time after three goes was a 14.4, so now i feel you guys who invested and got nuthin. but here's the bad part, my car is a stage four dyno tuned, so yeah my ego is really hurting, i dont wanna even drive my car. and to top the evening off my wife laughed at me. GGGRRRRR!!!!

That's right. Practice and make sure you can get the power planted to the ground.

It seems like the tranny is the weak link now.

Anyways...a lot of the big baller guys that spent 6-10K have had to adjust their tuning because of the weather here. I believe that IS2Scooby is one of the guys that knows how to tune for this weather...I don't know what kind of EM you have though

We've all been there. It was many a night of late night freeway blitz wideband tuning that goet me straightened up.

Also the r/t doesn't affect your e.t. at all.

Plus who cares about the e.t.? What were your trap speeds? That's how you determine if you got the scoot or not!

Also, I don't know what your car is, but bolt ons do NOTHING for an Sti without tuning.
A freind in NY put $6k in parts (FMIC, ceramic coated headers, catless exhaust, ported turbo, etc.) he drove it to Godspeed in Michigan and Dynoed at 10 whp over stock. After the the e-manage was tuned, he was putting 320 to the ground, but it really is in the tuning. So, in addition to practice, tweaking the ecu will help.

I think his car was dyno tuned (more than what we can do here w/the lack of an AWD dyno). I am curious if that tune will work with Hawaii's less-than-perfect racing conditions (humidity and crappy track).
