Turbo Timers
Turbo Timers
So what is everyone going with? Blitz? HKS? Curious where you mount the display? They seem pretty damn big to me and would seem pretty ugly. Unless you can hide them behind a display plate or something. Just curious. Trying to do research on all the junk I am wanting to add to the WRX in time.
Thanks, Dave

Most people I know of have the Blitz, comes in various models but they are relatively small and we just attached them to the dash trim.

Any turbocharged car will need cooldown if you drive them over long distances under boost. The oil in the turbo gets so hot, you will need to let it cool down. Thats what primarily the turbo timer is for. Not exactly necessary if you keep your car stock but once you do those upgrades and run your car well, it might be a good investment.
because it's YOUR car, and YOU do what YOU want to it.
TT or not, it doesnt hurt to let your car idle after a hard run.
And I dont want to hear about, not boosting a mile before your destination crap. We live on an island, and there is no such thing as a cool down mile before you stop.
It's up to you really. It doesnt hurt to have one, and it doesnt hurt to not have one.

I have a Blitz DTT DC2 mounted in front of the gauge cluster. It has built-in boost gauge which is pretty cool.
Another popular mounting location is next to the cup holder.
