Tire Pressure ?
checked my tire pressure the other day for the first time since having the car. noticed that it was 40psi all the way around. i lowered it to the recommended pressure of 36F/30R. is there a reason why the dealer did it that way. my friend who also just got his STi said that the dealer told him that the higher pressure slows down the tire wear.
can anyone enlighten me?
thanks
sorry, i think i should have posted this in another forum. tried to delete it but couldn't.

to put it short, higher pressure will give you a little less wear but less grip. lower pressure will give you higher wear but more grip. hope this answers your question.
