OK... a little off-topic but I went surfing for the first time a few months ago and really enjoyed it. Problem is that I don't have a board to go again and I don't have anyone to go with/teach me more...

So, anyone want to teach a dumb white guy how to surf? Oh, and somewhere where I will not crack my head open.

i go surfing a lot... i like to go where ever theres waves... but i wouldn't mind going somewhere small...

 

well... I have gone once and I can pretty much only stand up on the board. The guy I went with let me use this monster of a board... I think everyone in the water that day could have gotten on the thing with me.

So, basically I want to be able to just stand on a smaller board. One that might actually let me turn if I try to do so. Assuming that I can stand up on it.

I think that I was surfing giant 3 foot waves

yea, I know... they are small... but you have to start somewhere right?

I can only go on weekends, work keeps my tied down until it is about dark out during the week.

So I am interested in going!

same problem as you man, went out a few times, but got no board.

hopefully that will change soon, car mods have been put on hold for now

Maybe we could get a group buy on boards?

I think that the biggest issue I have is the "no board" deal... and personally I really don't want to sit in the water all day by myself.

I am up for it any weekend... I just need to figure out how I can get my hands on a board!
