the suby jump???

ok i just put on my short ram........ and for some reason my suby has a "jump" almost as if its catching on something when im driving. it doesnt do it when i acc. only when im holding a steady speed and rpm in 2-3 gear. other than the intake its a stocky. i was thinking it might be the spark plugs but im not to sure..... ok guys give me some idears.

What year is your Subaru? WRX? What brand is the intake. My guess is that if you have a generic intake, the MAF sensor isn't getting the proper readings and therefore improperly adjusting the A/F mixture. Don't hold me to it, just a shot in the dark.

^^ Sounds like the MAF to me too. I know AEM short rams have been known to do that.

If it didn't surge before you put the intake on, change it back to stock. The 5 hp isn't worth the risk. Get some engine managment, more hp, less risk.
