i think that's why the cops normally leave us alone...
NO DIFFRENCE.

If you do it then at least have the ***** to own up to the fact that you do not give a **** for those around you or yourself. It's a punk thing to do. Don't make excuses for it.

I'm not talking about the legality of the issue here, I'm talking about moral obligation to those around you that you are endangering by what street racing is. I appreciate the difference between isolation and congested streets. bravo. The fact that unforeseeable traffic comes along on any public road.

Would you sleep on the roads you race on in a asphalt colored sleeping bag? Take that risk. If you have the capacity to take into thought what you are doing, accept it then you should have no problem doing it.

ugh...

here's the kicker...wait for it...wait for it...I would gladly sleep on that road for about a 2 hour time span in an asphalt colored sleeping bag from 3AM to 5AM when we race out there.

But a moral obligation to those around me? WTF should I care. I'm out there. I am endangering myself. They know exactly why they just traveled the 30 minutes to get out there. I fully accept responsibility for my actions, however I feel as though the actions aren't nearly as dangerous as those that would race on a congested street.

Legality? Morality? You are starting to sound like me David.

TUrbo:

At least we offered you the entire spectrum of street racing.....
all the way from obituaries to racing videos.
To answer your question, i club does not officially support street racing (someone correct me if I am wrong).

Glad to know that potentially someones life is worth you saving 2hrs and 40min of time.

At least you have access to one. You're in a section of the boards (Hawaii-mostly Oahu) where the nearest track is not on the same island, and we would currently have to ship our cars by freight to go there. We have no track currently. IT DOES NOT MATTER. Until there is a track tough ****.

It's another excuse to yourself, because you can't own up to it and say that you don't give a ****. It's *****, keep telling yourself that you're being responsible.

Yes, yes you're right,
"Rainbows & Gay stuff without lube. Street racing is OK, if it's in your ***!"

haha, where did I say I was responsible?

And why are you attacing me personally, it's a conversation buddy. It's basically to keep me busy for the next 2 hours and 22 minutes until I get off of work.

Also, it's 3 hours there, 3 hours back...

I'm saying that any action you take you are responcible for.

I don't think I'm calling you a *****, but i think it's ***** to street race and to seriously take to heart the possiblity of you killing some one. In the face of that to give excuces about that you are being safe as you can is bull****. If you are going to do it and try to pass it off as anything other that it is, is *****. You know what I'm looking for from you? this, "**** you, **** old ladies, i'm ****ing racing and i don't give a **** about you or myself."

That's what your actions say, but you can't either own up to it, or deny the reality of the situation.

Get what I'm saying? Seriously, I'm not trying to fall back on name calling, just calling it like I see it.

There's no excuses dood. I'm telling you that I am fully responsible for putting myself in danger.

You're not gonna hear a **** you from me, you're not going to hear me say **** pollution or **** society or anything like that. I'm the center manager of a business, I go to church on Sundays, I help old ladies cross the street (swear on it), I just like to have fun at night, and that fun is gettin in a buddies chevelle and making a 10.2 pass on the street with it while walking all over a mustang...

nah man, it's fun, makes for interesting conversation.

But to say it's ok because you have never been in a crash is dumb...

there are people who crash their first week they have a car (raises hand) and there are people who drive for 50+ years that never get into one crash.

I race cuz I love it. I love racing. be it on a track, on a strip, on a street, on PS3, etc...
