ah didnt realize it came with a FMIC, not bad. Of course thats the only thing I like about it. Just doesnt appeal to me...

Honestly, both are butt-ugly.

They are acquired tastes (like beer and coffee-once you get to lke them you can't figure out why you never did) However, I've begun to REALLY dig the STi. I even like the gargantuan hood scoop!

But if you toss in Farid's NSX, then that one wins. Mmmm... NSX.

just because I like the way they look DOESN'T mean I like one over the other.

I love the STi. The power curve, displacement, IC, tranny, LSD's etc. Everything about the Suby's engineering gives me wood.
The EVO is a stupid inline four.... woopty freagin doo.
Nothing beats the subaru drivetrain. I love the boxer and the way the whole car is laid out.

STi is my fave.

But in the looks department... it's tough. I love the huge scoop. I like the hood vents... I don't like the sunfire look of the evo, I don't like the Toyota look of the STi headlamps, but they are WAAAY better than the bug eyes NEON looks. I HATE the bug eyes.
I love the WR Blue. The Silver EVO looks good too...

 

I'd buy four STi's before spending a dime on an EVO.

 

Thats a pretty biased poll wouldn't ya' say. How about you take a poll from an EVO forum site and see what results you get. After all this IS the IMPREZA-CLUB!

 

True I had seen WRXs for several months before coming here and hated them. Wouldnt look at them online for anything, but then started reading more about performance and such and couldnt help but get sucked in...

NSX definitely wins. That EVO5 was sweet too...

I agree. Both look better in person than in photos. In person the EVO front end looks nothing like a Pontiac Sunfire or anything else, to me. I also find it amusing that so many people bag on the STi body (the snowshovel scoop, Hyundai headlights, and jeweled taillights) yet somehow it still looks better than the EVO. Definitely biased opinions here.
