Omori, Defi or wait? That is the question.

I'm thinking about the setup that J-Spec mentions with the Defi pod. During the day they don't match the STi gauges, but at night they would be a close match.

Any comments?

 

Im holding out. Both the Defi and Omori arent exact matches yet. Atleast the Defi BF are close and the power-up is like the gauges. Hmm...

 

Hmm, I thought Defi BF were red backlight, but from their site it sounds like it isnt. Anyone know? Too bad the markings are white, otherwise its perfect. If its atleast red backlit I will get them...

 

The D-gauge:

"The light is produced from high intense LED lamps. A bright transparent amber gauge dial and a red instrument pointer are used in the gauges to increase visibility at night and low-light applications."

It looks like the markings are still white when backlight is off (not a true blackout effect) but they look like they match pretty well at night.

just put my defi bf gauges in last night. sorry the pic is kind of blurry

 

Ah cool, yeah Im going to go with BF I think. Mainly for the powerup and such since it matches the stock. And atleast powered off it will be blacked out. Should look ok...

Nope, in fact the hood scoop makes the Defi pod look small.

 

I was wondering if anyone with Defi guages, could give me the dimensions of the control unit?
