Stage II Question

I am running Cobb Stage II with catted TBE and Accessport Tuned for 91 OCT. I was wondering if I should upgrade to a 255lph?
Second Question. If I do upgrade is there a risk of pushing too much fuel to the engine?

i saw a few post in the past where some guys where upgrading the fuel pump and stepping up their injectors to like 650cc on the stock vf39 and then getting a tune and coming close to 300 awhp if not slightly higher.

fuel pump will not hurt anything, if anything you will definetly be ready for future upgrades

personally I would rather spend $100 on brake lines but thats me

Well if you get a good deal on a fuel pump like I did from Brandon, by all means go for it!

Been on Stg 2 for over a year on stock pump and injectors. I'm even running the Stg 2 93 Oct LWG map. I've driven the card hard (i.e. 14 SCCA Solo events and one year end SCCA runoffs in Street Modified). No problems.

Use the funds on something else. I suggest a good alignment or a couple of entrance fees at the SCCA events.

I picked one up for 70.00 just to set up for future upgrades..... you are running 93oct? I was under the impression that if you put in 92OCT, that you should tune for 91OCT not 93?

I'm not running 93 oct, just 92. I have a 91 oct map, but run the 93 instead. It runs fine, even when target boost is hit.

^^^Isn't that a big risk? Anyways, you probably data log and such to make sure you're not knocking.

I'd spend the money on other upgrades unless you're on the road to a turbo upgrade.

I haven't experienced any knock to this day (knock on wood - no pun intended). I've run it in the middle of the day on asphalt close to 130 degrees at Solo events and not issue. I also climb 3,500 ft. elevation everyday to get home and at the end of the commute, the map is still reliable even with the engine hot.

I had to run LWG because of compressor surge.

I have a stealthback and short ram as well.
