My best was about 260 on my STI, but average is more around 230-240. Julio said he always shifts at 3k RPM, so unless you do that you won't come close to his MPG. Plus if you have any mods on your car (other than the dead pedal) you will have much worse gas mileage. You are running higher than normal boost right? There goes your gas mileage.

i'm getting about 240-260 miles per tank on the STi and about 260-270 on the wrx. it really depends on how much highway driving i do. once it was even as low as 230 miles (lots of driving in traffic). i'm glad i work close to home now.

I get about 220, mostly street driving and when I do get on the freeway its usually during traffic time.

Julio is still the "King of the Mileage".

i can't go to the tracks, but at least there is another thing i can try and be good at....
what a loser thing to be good at though.

myron, don't forget i do shift very early and use cruise control a lot. i also driver pretty far on the freeway. oh yah, aside from all the weight reduction techniques i used, the only real mod i have is a drop in air filter

I got 270 and 286 on my STI which came out to about 21-22mpg. Wow! This is complete Highway driving. If I go to work and cruise in town, I get only like 220 or so and about 15-18mpg. Light on the foot = good gas mileage..... I think?

my average for the month of october = 18 mpg . . . 286 miles.

not great- but i sure enjoyed every gallon. i work 7 miles away from home. driving my car gives me a whole new meaning to commuting. i arrive at work with a refreshed and ready to work feeling.

i'm not complaining. yet. when i feel that my gas bill is not worth the therapy it provides... i'm buying a motorcycle.
