Since everyone is posting new pix...

I figured I have had the plain vanilla WRX wing on the car for a few months now. It was time for new pix...

These were between 20 and 30 second exposures and the color is actually how it came off of the camera. I did stack a neutral density and a circular polarizer on the lens though...

Yeah I over exposed that one a little bit and had to tone it down a bit, I am working on the white balance a little more right now. The parking lot lights came on in the middle of a 30 second exposure and it is going to be hard to save the picture. I like the way the sky turned out though so I posted it anyway...

I don't think anyone there had a boner for you, but if you are intersted in Matt, please take it to PMs. Besides, I think you are too old for him, he likes his boy toys young and brown...

I used 2 different kinds of filters. They thread on to the business end of the lens and can be stacked several on top of each other to get the desired outcome.

The polarizer reduces the light that reaches the sensor slightly and greatly reduces reflections on non metalic ojects (the windows in this photo but it will also work on water).

The neutral density filter just reduces the amount of light that hits the sensor (or film on a standard camera) and allows for longer exposures without the image being over exposed.

I used ND filters on both of these to get the long exposure on the water which gave it the whispy look...
