"Short" shifter

Decided to
lower the height of my short shifter. It feels really nice. Probably more of a long arm mod.

I cut the
threaded section of my short shifter clean off. Saved a few ounces. And I drilled the shifter for the set screws, saved at least a gram there!

Hmm that sound interesting. can you still reach the shifter comfortably??

Yup,
a friend with a WRX down the street loves it. He's tall too. I had to modify the boot to make it fit better, hollow out the shifter ****, and generally make my car even more impossible to ever try to return to stock condition. I am committed.
