I only use the Techron because it really has helped cars that I've driven before...for instance, my Grampa's 86 Tempo would drive crazy rough but after the Techron it would be fairly smooth again.
I'm talking about the Techron you buy in a bottle for those of you who are gonna ask.

Life is good. Retired from the Air Force. 2007 Tundra 4X4 5.7L (white/black interior), 2007 C6 MN6 Corvette (black on black), and of course, 2002 black Subaru WRX (34K). I drove the Subaru for the first time in weeks today. Part of me wants to sell it, the other part wants to keep it. Getting used to the "Peoples Republic of California." It's pricey, but the "scenery" is primo. All in all, not a bad place to hang out.

Hey I just saw..."Subaru Top Engine Cleaner" on www.subaruparts.com
It sounds the same as Seafoam as you suck it through a vacuum line.
Anyways, just keeping the convo going.

Would you gues recommend this product if i was just going to use it in my gas tank and maybe in my oil. But probly just in my gas? I seem to be having issues with my mpg, like less than 175miles on a single tank, and its been this way my last couple tanks of gas.

i have used this on every vehicle i have owned.the was i use it as follows.i pour it in slowly(brake booster line)using about 1/3 give or take.i pour enough inuntil it starts to choke out a little.then i pour a good amount in and have someone kill the motor.then i pull all 4 plugs and spread into the cylinder.i let it sit over nite and i suck it out the next morning.i change the oil.thats it.wheni pulled the heads on my tacoma for the over sized valves/cams the pistons were super clean and had almost zero build up.and that was at 120k
