sard racing blow off valve---sounds mean

Yup, the reason you hear that on race cars (like the Prodrive WRX and the WRC car) is because they us an anti-lag system and can afford to run a new turbo every race.

but that blow off valve connects to your intercooler y pipe so its underneath....huh

no...i have it in the stock location...i dont have the $300+ bov kit everyone else has...i bought the $100 Sard racing R2D2 bov and made my own flange... i was not about to spend $200 on a fancy-smanshy under-the-tmic-y-pipe-flange

yup,,,,you guys are right,,,i just talk to my friend in the mainland and he said that the sard racing blow off valve is good with high boost and a bigger turbo but not good for a stock turbo with stock boost,,,he said you gotta have over 20psi of boost....and yup it causes compressor surge which will ruin your turbo bearings in time..........so after all that i'll stick to my hks valve....thanks guys.....

With all the mods, you posted, you need a turbo...so it can support the flow of injectors, fp, etc, then might have to go with an aftermarket bov...but if not you might be running too rich or have a mean boost lag...
