The Sard BOV is an excellent unit (with a unique sound) but the reason your car is having problems with the HKS unit is because you weren't retuned after you put it on. You stock bypass valve is recirculating and the HKS unit is venting to atmosphere. Your ECU expects to see that air that is now being vented to atmosphere and it dumps in an appropriate amount of fuel. This causes a rich condition which then causes back firing, a rough idle, and sometimes stalling. A retune will most likely fix this. To answer your question though, the Sard is a great unit that not a lot of people run (very JDM).

Thanks,

Geoff

hehe, the sard actually repositions the bov to under the intercooler, you can't see it from over the engine, puts a kinda stealth mode to it.

I don't have a sound clip, but the sound that comes out is a big whoooosh. I personally love the sound and think the sard is the best sounding one out there.
