I'm 21 with a flawless record, good grades and a military discount ON MY PARENTS INSURANCE and still pay $1600 every six months. Save the money and drive a beater till your 20 and you've figured out if you income is consistent. By then you can buy one cash but I'm fairly sure you'll see how saving your money and compiling interest is good hobby. Facilitate your future and all the fun toys will come with it.

That's only about 30 bucks off what I pay.

I'm on theirs. I'd be almost as high if I had my own and I'd rather not screw myself out of the ability to drive my dad's cars.

Well guys, I talked with my grandparents again last night. They decided that they didn't think it was a good idea for me to get a car as expensive as that. While I would like to have that STI, I have also came to the conclusion myself that it is probabley for the best that I wait a few years. Maybe if all goes well, I can get a cruser or whatever I decide to get, pay it off in a few years, make a ****load of cash, and drop cash for an '08 or whatever STI. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the input.

Buy it........you only live once and you can't take money with you when you die

If you get in a situation down the road where you can't afford it.....you can always sell it
