the sales side has nothing to do with your request, most times the car has already been inspected prior to delivery at least week ahead at their vehicle processing center on sand island..

 

I understand. But I wasn't dealing with sales, I was dealing with the service manager.
Just an update, Servco called the state inspection office and confirmed what I told them. They went ahead and removed the two year safety off my bumper for me, put on a one year sticker on my bracket and even promised to take care of the next safety inspection.
All-in-all, I think I might have just caught the service manager on a bad day because he was super friendly and nice when I went in to get the work done. Either that or he was worried about the customer survey that I still needed to fill out.
