returning to HI

Talking returning to HI

hello to everyone in hawaii... my names cory, ive got a black 06 sti! i made it out to a couple meets @ starbux before i deployed.. but anyways im just lookin forward to seein familiar faces and meetin new folks... OH and i have a huge install day planned at the end of ocotber when i get back, i have to install a HKS dp, VF34, injen front mount, front strut, (plug in) access port... im gettin a map from PDX tunning, tallman boost controller, sparco harness bar... i already have a set a takata harness'! one step colder plugs! ima see how it runs like that, but i need injectors and a pump for sure... anyone that wants to help.. please do, this is after all my first suby...

Did you have the tools for this install?? I know you mentioned this is your first suby, but tools are very important if you are planning to do the work yourself.

yeah tools +1 and also i would scrub the hks dp as it's ok for a stock replacement but for a vf34 a bellmouth or divorced would be better. also why the vf34? you have a vf39 which makes comperable power so the only real gains your gonna see are it spooling a couple rpm sooner and few more hp. not really worth the $$ unless your going to go a little bigger. plus i don't think you need injectors or a pump to run a vf34 but thats about the max your stock fuel system can handle. either way if thats what you want then it's your car and i'll help out either way. let us know when your going to do the install! oh and i remember you btw

yea, i just wanted something simple, i have tools, but not really soob specific... oh and i was wondering about gettin recon, cuz i have like 3 tickets under my belt already... or just gettin a fake.. dunno.. tired of gettin puled over tho..

soO the hks catless, NO good?? i have the carbon ti...

yea ill kno the date when i acctually get back!!

oh and only 34 cuz i want to gain, but i have to keep gas prices in mind...

Hey cory,

let us know when your set date for your install day..Im down to help..You need air tools & compressor, I got them. I wanna do an install day to but school and work and family responsibilities are getting in the way..Jus gawking at the parts irritates the hell out of me..

if you just want a gain then add a good downpipe and not the hks and get it tuned with an AP. you'll see similar gain and you'd be surprised what the vf39 can lay down....ask brad

hmmmm.... well ive already got the turbo in hawaii, soO im use it, but wut dp? cuz the hks wus cheap...

and yes ima sell my 39 and the sti top mount... i also have the full stock sti exhaust, just incase anyone wants it, aha!! and my roomate has a compressor, unless he sold it, aha... thanx guys.
