Repost: Electronic Gauge Install

I think my thread got deleted.

Was asking about the EGT, Boost, Oil Pressure gauges. Omori and going into the Defi pod.

I believe I needed to order some more parts to make the connections? Not too sure.

If anyone can help with install I will spring for food/beverage/dancing girls...whatever...and Richard will send you his entire **** collection...

OK

if you didn't order an adapter, and just have an oil pressure sender unit (it'll be kind of small), you'll need "Main Gallery Plug: 11024AA210", which converts from the plug on the block under the intercooler to 1/8 BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread). About $8. That's what most of the Japanese gauges use. I'll assume you have a pressure sensor for your boost gauge, and there are a few different places to tap for that. You need to tap your manifold (or weld a bung into a stainless header) to place your EGT probe in place. Different schools of thought on where to put it, but I believe 6 inches from exhaust port of cylinder 3 is popular. I can help with the oil pressure, boost, and EGT wiring/sensor installation. Not that hard, just let me know. I think you have my #, but PM me if not.
