Question Psi3 electronic gauge kit

I found this guage kit while browsing around, just wondering if anyone knows about it at all, and if its worth the price. The feature that shows whats wrong with the car im sure will be extremely useful, but i don't know how well it would work with a modifed car.

Looks pretty good. I've seen the same thing built up for diesels, and they're really handy to have. Helps out IF you do tend to throw codes often. It's also a lot sleeker then have 5+ gauges floating around your dash board.

I was wondering when these would hit the US. I would get one fast if I had the extra $

They are really expensive. You need to buy all of the sending units seperatly and they are well over a $100 apiece. some are several hundred.

you can get them in the states through mark@quantum racing or through forge motorsports.

i just installed one but i'm still waiting on the obd cable so i havent had a chance to test it yet. imo, for the features that you get with the thing, its worth the $500 i spent on it.

whether or not its accurate with aftermarket tuning depends on the type of tuning itself. something like a unichip or safc wont give accurate numbers on the secs because those type of units change values being sent to the ecu, thus there will be a difference between what value is actually sensed by the sensors and what the ecu is seeing. an ecutek reflash on the otherhand will work fine with the secs. if you do have a piggyback that alters signals to the ecu, values that arent touched by the aftermarket piece will still be accurate.

where did you get this info from?

the only sensors you need to buy are oil pressure and temperature, and you only need those IF you want to monitor those parameters.

everything else which is currently read or interpreted by the ECU in stock form is available.
