Greddy electronic boost gauge install

Those of you who've installed a Greddy electronic boost guage, did you install the restrictor that came with it on the y-tee?

I didn't, but it would be easy to put it in the line to the sending unit after the install, if necessary. This assumes you put the sending unit in a convenient place.

If you get what looks like needle vibration, mostly at idle, put the restrictor in.

Replied to your PM with more detail.

The Greddy was an excellent gauge. It was easier to read, and easier to read accurately, than the OEM gauge I have now. I just thought it looked too ricey, and I didn't like any of the mounting options. I guess I'm not into attracting attention, and I don't care if my car looks like its fast, I'd rather it didn't. It's a good bit faster than a stock WRX, but you can't tell by looking at it.

Just so ya know, I'm a 45 year old white guy, and I even took all the writing off to attract less attention from cops and guys with loud hondas.

So yeah, if you're going to use a pillar mount or something, the Greddy is choice.

Does it matter in what direction you put the 3 way tee? For example does the sender have to be on a certain part etc, or is it just a universal 3 way tee?
