Curious what you guys think about tint for the bimmer. I like the reflective on the lighter cars, but have always been partial to the dark tint. Either way it will be about 16% like the STi was.

I voted for black...I think those reflective tints, although nice looking, have to much of "look at me!" vibe going.

My 2 cents.

 

dave are you in cali already? isn't it illegal to tint the front windows? i know you can tint the rear and back window but not the front ones.

any way my vote was for black. mirror tint looks nice and dark in the light but at night it doesn't look as nice and you can see through it easier.

 

Moving next week. Most of the guys I talked to there have even the windshield tinted. Im getting about 16% and 60% on the windshield. In Laguna Niguel they seem to not really care much, not sure why, I met a bunch of guys there and they all have atleast 20% and windshield tinted as well. Small ticket even if you get caught too.

what i like of like now is that mirror tint that fades to black half way up. i've seen that more and more here. with that you get the best of both.

 

i tend to like blackout tint. looks nice in the day and looks dope at night!!
