Just curious, did anyone notice the odd occurance that people who "run" their car hard, or should I say beat the crap out of it without any care, never have problems while people who responsibly "drive with enthusiasm" and take care of their cars have lots of engine problems?
I'm not referring to anyone in particular, just the whole rediculousity of it all. (I know that isn't a word.)

I've seen my share of cars on the road being run hard that don't smoke, leak or break. LOL.

Thats so funny that you would mention that. Dexter Lum, who started Eurosport waay back in the day had that same mentality. He didn't believe in properly breaking-in a car, he'd just say to drive it like hell, fewer problems if you do. His cars always looked like crap, but were strong runners at the track. Back in the mid eighties or so, he had a turbo'd Rabbit that was running low 13s. It was such a sight to see the car beat a Buick Grand National at the track.
