Random Thought: BOV + Air intake

Hello guys. I've been thinking. Was wondering if you guys think the richness of a 100 % atmosphere venting BOV will cover for the leaness a shortram intake would even eachother out to make more power? Or does the intake just take in too much air ?

no. the bov only makes the car run rich when it's venting (throttle body closing while shifting, etc...) the intake can make your car run lean because of a different diameter in the MAF housing which will cause it to measure less air than is actually there. the two will not offset eachother.
