I have a question about motor shipping.
Let's say that I'm buying a motor from the mainland or other countries, how do I get the motor? Do they deliver it to my doorstep or do I pick it up at the docks?
Thanks for your help!

Depends on the courier
When I brought in my V9 spec C seats I picked them up from a courier near the airport

I can't talk about Hawaii, but i just got a L28 Street Built engine made in Maine shipped to las vegas, to the dock it cost about 650. This is a Cast Iron L6 with a custom 6 qt. oil pan so not a light engine or small... It honestly depends if your shipping by air, or sea. But it's one of those things, if you have to ask you probably can't afford it lol, just kidding. Do you know the builder? Do you have good contact? Do they have good references? These are things to think about. The guy i was working with was referred to me by Rebello (big Datsun engine builder) and a few guys i use to race with.

Thanks man! Now I have a good price range to look at for things coming from overseas. I guess it would cost more for a complete Subaru motor.
