if you hook up your ipod to a windows computer or bootcamp to windows you can see all the files on the ipod (if it isn't a touch or iphone) then just pull the files off and reimport in your mac environment. It will of course be in 4 letter/number filenames. If it's a touch or iphone you need other software to see the files.
