Project Weightloss: SM 02 WRX Wagon
Car is 12k/10k springs with a 27mm front bar. 22rear on softest setting. Gonna try run with it for the first section then pull it later and see.
Brett, I don't think so lol. When I pulled the old fluid, the drain plug was pretty much coated in fine metal shavings so it was really due for new fluid.

As far as springs, maybe you should go bigger in front? Isn't Krang running like 15k's or something?

lol no, 7k/5k I think. I should probably get some stiffer springs too but I don't think I could live with it on real streets =( I did think they were stiffer though, which is a bummer.

Maybe. Just thinking I might go with no rear.
I haven't tried to run yet on this setup, they came in the Monday after runoffs, so the car didnt make it hence why I ran Krangs car.

What size are your coilovers? I just took off my 10k/7k's. 8"/2.5 diameter I believe.
Shoots. Just let me know if you ever want to try them. Just gotta pull them off the Rally WRX. Lol.

I will check tomorrow night possibly, but that would be a decent upgrade and I might be able to losen my sways a bit if that were the case. I will let you know, I'm checking with Feal now.

One thing on springs and comfort, if you have good valving, the ride will be firm but still composed. you could be stock 150lbs/100lbs, go to 200lbs/150lbs springs and using the stock shocks, it'll feel crappy. but if got matched shocks, it should feel great. i have 14k/8k springs on the miata, and amazingly, the ride would be tolerable for daily driving. but i did get the shocks custom valved for it, and it was something around $2600... but it was worth it. so it really is something to splurge on if nothing else.

I got my new struts valved to match my spring rates. Ride still sucks, but it's bareable. Roads here suck and that's my excuse! I'm sure it doesn't help that all my rubber bushings have been replaced too.

I have the same Feal 441 coils as Ryan, and they offer $400 re-valves for original owners so its really not too bad. However, my current setup worked well last season so I'm going to give it a shot first before I go changing everything around.
Also forgot to mention that Brad may join us in SM as well. He says the GTR is eligible for SM, go figure. But he was going to do it on street tires to give us a chance.

Thanks for the offer though!
