Power mirror failure ??

Power mirror failure ??

just noticed when i tried to adjust my mirrors they dont work..checked the connection and under the hood and the fuse is fine not blown or nutting...cant seem to figure out what's the deal..any takers ???

i have an 02 wrx

did you just physically look at the fuse to determine that it wasn't good or did you use a DMM to make sure that it wasn't broken even though it looks ok? I've got the same problem but I'm pretty sure that mine is due to me shorting something out LOL since I had something connected to it and now it doesn't work.

fuse for that should be if I'm not mistaken is located on the lower left side of the steering column under that little pocket that you can open on the dash.

thanks jon and jose..i'll take a closer look tommorrow mourning..jon i think i shorted something out my cig lighter element when i was messing with the car charger...n e ways i'll look closer and let u guys know..thanks...

try to check the plug by the actual buttons....mine was disconnected b'cuz i took it off to change out my shifter and forgot to connect it back up...

it is a sign that the fuse is dead, happened to me one time with same "symptoms."

Cig lighter and mirrors...
