well after looking for an 04 forester for quite a while with no luck, i ran across a 91 turbo legacy. i am going to look at i tomorow but was wondering what you guys thought. anything would help (ie, conserns, problems, benefits, parts you'd buy, ect). i will be building this up for auto-x so there will be a lot of replacements going in. hopefully it will be worth doing. if i like what i see tomorow there will be an 04 wrx for sale in the classifieds thanx or any input guys, L8R.

I'd really be careful with the overall status on the car. Is it mechanically sound? Leaks? Rust? Mileage? Does it run?

 

well any parts i part out you can have first dibs on. i know from talking with him that it runs good and i will be swapping out the trans so i'm not worried about that. he also said no rust and it's in good shape for a 15yr old car. he also said it had 120,000 miles on it and i will be test driving it tomorow so i will know for sure then. i hope it's in good shape b/c i would really like to build a good track car and this is a pretty good platform. i'll LYK on the parts, L8R.

 

If you've got some Up/down pipes you're willing to part out, lemme know. Dibs!
