plz help asap!!!

i was wondering if anyone could help me with this. i ordered my exhaust on fri and this morning they called me back and said it would be $50 more bc of the shipping. now i have already paid for it and was expecting it one wed. do i have a right to tell them that the invoice is a contract and that they have to ship it here if thats what they quoted me and thats what i paid? anyone have this happen to them b4? thanx for the help, they r gonna call me back in 10min to see what they can do. L8R

well i ordered it fri but it hasn't been shipped yet. supposed to go out today, but they quoted me a price and i paid that price but they won't ship it unless i pay $50 more. sounds like extortion to me.

they have to take the loss. this aint ebay but i was the seller one time for my rims and i quoted the buyer 100 bucks... came out to 180 bucks!!! i asked ebay if i have the right to up the shipping and they said no.. so, im guessing that if they quoted you something already and you already paid for it, they have to ship it.. i dont know how you would go about doing this but yeah, it sorta is like a contract..

update...after talking to the guys over there and making myself late for work i got them to "repackage" it and it will be shipped today. thanx for your help guys. man they had me worried there for a sec. it really sucks that i had to go through this and spend probably $20 in long distance calls but it will be worth it if my exhaust gets here in good shape on wed. L8R

I hate it when the vendors do that. Quote you on the price, then change it when you paid for it already. Glad everything works out okay. Can't wait to see and hear your exhaust.

A quote is a quote, they have to honor what was on the invoice and shipped it to you ASAP, and the person in charge should actually apologize to you and show great customer service.

That's my 2 cents...

World One are good guys Garret is always willing to give ya a great deal. You got to remember sometimes they forget where we live. You might have had to spend some time with them on the phone but they would have did the right thing.

I had the same thing happen to me, and I stated that I was in the great state of Hawaii. I think you probably have a case, but if it were an honest error, you can't blame them for not wanting to take a loss. I guess it boils down to how much you want the exhaust right now. Just make sure they remember you, in case there's a next time so they don't 'forget' again.

lol...yeah i know but it wasn't at nite or on the weekend. only got like 500 anytime. so yeah i'm glad it got worked out and i just pray it gets here in one piece and not scratched. L8R
