oil changed finally

Well i finally did my 1st oil change today on my 04 wrx. Took me about 1 hour. First the dirt guard is a pain in the ***. Then i didnt have the right tool to remove the filter so i had to go to napa. Once that was done i noticed the filter on my car was smaller than the one i bought from the parts department. But the gaskets are the same size. I got the AA060. Then i didnt have a breaker bar so that nut on the bottom of my oil pan was a PITA to take off. I filled her up with mobil 1 synthetic. All of this was a real PITA but at least i know whats going into my motor. It seems that my car felt faster before i changed my oil. ANy thoughts on this?

Dunno about that, but what kinda oil you using? After my first oil change, my car felt smoother. Am currently using Mobil One.

Sorry wasn't paying much attention, but I really like the Mobil One in my car. I know there are others, I used to use Royal Purple in my Jetta, but it was kinda expensive. For the price I am quite happy with the Mobil One. IMHO.

well after driving my car for a few days it now feels smoother. funny huh? so everythings all good now.

in regards to the royal purple if u want to use it i know the dist 4 oahu. his name is theodore(operates off nimitz) he sells me a case for 60 bucks. about 5 bucks a quart.
