O2 sensor problems

O2 sensor problems
So I decided to be a cheapo an buy a univeral o2 sensor..I hooked up all the wires according to the directions..I plugged it in and I threw the code p1131 which means front o2 sensor low circuit. I've pulled it out checked the wiring more than twice. It's all correct...any ideas??
