I came out this morning and tried to start my car, it would start fine for about 3 seconds then die. I tried it a few times, and was like wth. So i tired disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU see if that might fix it. It didn't. After that i disconected the MAF sensor and it started just fine. So I'm guessing that's the problem. Anyone know where i can get a new one cheap? Kinda hurting for $$ since I'm leaving the island in 2 months. The cheapest I've found one is 273. but the COBB cold air intake system is only 299, and I think it has a sensor in it. I'll try to call Cobb and find out for sure but if anyone knows I'd appreciate the info.

 

Sorry I wouldn't know but I know that was a common problem for the '99 like the oil leaks for the '98 which I had.
