So is the Blitz website lying about the silencer or has it been removed from the Touring package (http://www.blitz-na.com/Blitz_Ex_Spec_T.htm)? It clearly indicates that the Trouing has some kind of sound suppresor. Also, is the diameter 2.5" or 3"? Will this thing mate up to the TXS Stealthback if I just use the axleback? Sorry for all the questions but I'm VERY interested in this system. Thanks.

I just saw this at speedgear tonight, and it had a silencer that was held in by one screw so it looked like it could easily be removed.

The one that Mach5 has for sell, I don't think there is a hole for the silencer it isn't loud enough to where you'd need one..

Mine did not come with the silencer and there is no hole for it to screw in. You can buy the silencer for $15 and drill a hole if need be but again, the Touring doesn't need the silencer. And it's 80mm diameter I think. STi OEM is 2.5".

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the JDM version is a little different than the ones made for the US spec. Does anybody know if this thing will mate up to the TXS Stealthback or do I have to buy there catback adapter pipe? Thanks.

Kierrna-how did it sound?

It's 80mm (3") from the DP back. US version has a 2.5" taper so it'll bolt to the DP. I dyno'd 302/ 350 with the stock turbo and that US spec NUR Spec Touring. The taper is not restrictive. If I go with a bigger turbo, I'll have the taper removed.

at least he knew how to use the search function.

you should drop by vakaman "speedgear"
and ask the guys incharge there.

if the price is to much you can go with some of the great vendors registered on the club
