I feel the same way, we need to get our cars in the mid 11s at least so we can qualify as one of the top 4 in the quick 8 on the next shootout! (November?)

I feel ya.

Reggie, I don't have ANY time at all. Money is always an issue, but even if I won Hoosier Millionaire, I still couldn't afford to spend the time I need to on it.

I just bought a new OEM belt for it yesterday which was something that had stopped me, but the engine is still on the engine stand.

I need to take about a week's leave in order to get serious about it.

What's really cool is that I'm seeing the seeds here in the Indy I-club of what I loved about the HIIC. Everybody here lives about an hour away from me, but all of them are telling the folks who post up looking for an install day for their car that there aren't any install days until we get my car back on the road. That's just cool and touching.

Anyhow, my goal is 11.5 @ 118, but I think that is just not going to happen. If I'm 11.9 @ 116-117, I'd be happy but I imagine it will be more along the 12.0-12.1 @ 114-115.

I hear yah Pat. Cars are money and time pits. They also set you up for lots of dissapointment and unmet expectations. Oh well, I guess guys like us just like getting beat up.

I'm leaning very heavily towards paying someone to complete my car for me.

Just the thought of that feels like I'm asking someone to butt-rape me.
