Damn I miss Hawaii
the longer i stay here, the more i miss Hawaii. i wish i could say there are mad hot biotches out here...but there ain't! i've seen two other scoobs since i got here. food and everything is much cheaper - although gas is $2.70 for 89 octane!!! plus it's like 100 degrees here, but 65ish when i get into SF. mini-rant over for now. but i'll be back!
and boycott Hollister! t-shirts out here go for $15.50; whereas in hawaii they want $30 for the same shirts! the polor shirts out here go for $29! what a rip for hawaii!!

I would give anything to return to South East Pennsylvania:
94 octane right down the street
miles upon miles of un-patrolled rolling hill/mountain roads to enjoy
Philly 30min away
NYC 1.5hrs away
DC 3hrs away
3 of the top NHRA drag strips at my fingertips
Hot in the summer
Snow in the winter
All of the largest auto enthusiast events an easy drive away
But I digress......
If you are from Hawaii, then this will apply. Since I move around a lot with the Marine Corps, I notice that I never really enjoy my current location as much as I should. Because I think, most people tend to look back more fondly on where they have been rather than where they are.
So Hold out till you get back to Hawaii, and try to find something you like about where you currently are, because someday you may look back and wish you were there again.

crickey i miss my peeps! when i come back we gotta hit up femmes, visit D&B's, and kill a hooker in Waikiki...brings a tear to my eye.

been taking road trips here - SF, Sacramento, Napa Valley and Sonoma(stopped by Infineon Raceway), and Berkely so far; and we've been here for a week and a half. trying to keep an open mind, especially since money is good over here. one of the things that gets at me here is the people. maybe i'm used to how many people in hawaii say 'thanks', 'please', hold doors for you, yadda yadda yadda...but out here it's almost the complete opposite. i don't know why, but it eats away at me. At least in NYC i expected people to be a*holes, so i treated them as a*holes. hawaii made me a much nicer person
