I think we may have figured it out tonight. What say you, Jon? Was it the center console lid rattling? Maybe all my years in tech. school weren't a waste after all. Rattle patrol, mount up!

I don't think it's solved unfortunately I'll still have to run more tests... I also put on the IC richard and I still have a little bogging

The cause of the noise that you showed me was the lid. Are you hearing a different noies?

By the way I didn't quite feel the bogging you were speaking of when you were trying to show it to me. It felt like converter slip... What makes you think it's engine bogging?

I think it's engine bogging because the only time I get slipage is when i first start to move. also if I'm at partial throttle and i keep my foot at the same position never increasing or decreasing the pressure the engine seems to bog. if i increase the pressure at that time i immediately get a change in power and the turbo kits in hard!

I think you may be mis-using the term 'bog'...

To get a real feel for the problem would take a drive in the car (not a ride).

Since you said the car was like that since the day you bought it (regardless of mods) maybe the guys on the mainland say they're not getting a "bog" because it's a misnomer in this usage?
