ok, as you know i have been lookin for an accessport cause i want to go to dans super cool tuning session haha. i need info though and please respond only if you really know cause hersay is whats killin me. if i am correct the Cobb accessport version2s are compatable with all 02-05 wrxs if it is for the wrx 2.0L right? they dont have an 02-03 and 04-05 model or anything right? also and probably more important, on the version 1s is it the same thing? is it 1 model for 02-05 and it just has one connector for the 02 and one for the 03-05? or did they make specific year models. i really need to know and have a concrete answer cause i am looking at a version1 that has the 03-05 connector but im not sure if its just for the 04-05 cause it says conflicting things. cobbs website doesnt give much for the v1. thanks.

You have a 03 right? Well I think that there is a 02-03 Wrx V1 AP it comes with a blue connector and a white connector the white connector is the one you use because it's an 03. But as for the V2 AP it'compatiable for 02-05...

I'll do some reseach for you though...

i know that there is the blue init. connector for the 02 and the white init. connector for the 03-05. what i am talkin about is the DiagPORT that connects to the obdII port on the car. the one i am lookin at says 04-05 only. so im tryin to figure out if for the v1's cobb made an 02-03 model and an 04-05 model or if its like the v2's and its an 02-05 type thing. i have heard soooooo many different things, no one really seems to know but everyone has an opinion.

I called this morning...the V1 is like this, 02Wrx AP-03Wrx AP are compatible with eachother....the 04Wrx AP is by itself and the 05Wrx AP is by itself...

The accessports have certain PartNumbers that have different mechanical settings... so the 04-05 one that you are looking at was issued when they first made the accessports but ran into some problems so they made a accessport for the 04Wrx and then another for the 05Wrx. So my advice to you Mike is to buy a 02-03 AP and don't try to cheat the system...I had one but sold it...
