well, went for a drive and checked everything again. once again couldnt duplicate the smell. probably just spill over like jon said. seems to do it only after fill ups, although i dont remember it happening before the install. *shrug* ohs wells.

 

yup, CEL came back on tonight.... not sure where the problem is, but i am sure as hell gonna find it in the morning if i gotta rip the whole car apart.... im sure its something dumb but its annoying the crap outta me. grrr...
