They're harder to come by on the mainland. I think you should hold out and sell it there!

I think he should return it to stock here on island and sell the parts.

Then sell the STi on the mainland.

I think you'll get the most $$$ that way.

I Think he should Keep it!!!
The car is not uncomfortable, and depending upon where he lives, he may have the only STi in the area! Those 'other' cars are more frequently seen on the mainland, .... I was just reminded of that on my trip home.

Well I cant fully extend my legs when driving, actually they are WAY too bent. I couldnt drive more than a couple hours before dying. Ive driven a lot of other cars that I can actually stretch out in so thats the main reason. We used to drive from Boise to east coast just for something to do and no way would I want the STi for that. So the other option is we will sell the Accord and just put that into a G35 or something, then I get the best of both worlds. The only problem is if we did that it would be an auto and then whats the point. Oh well... Wont find anyone wanting to buy it here Im very sure and if I spend the time and money shipping it I will probably just keep it. Was just hoping someone would come along that was looking for one and realized this is a deal.

Sorry, I wish I could sell my car right now, because I'd buy yours. I'm 6'5" so I know exactly what you're talking about concerning the leg room issue. I can't fit well into any normal size car. I manage with the WRX, but it seems that the STi is even more cramped by at least 1 or 2 notches on the seat.

A little off topic but isn't there a way that you could make it so the seat goes a little further back??

Dave,

this is a good forum, but probably not for selling cars. I have a question. If your STI was more accomodating to your long daddy longleg legs, would you keep it? Possibly modification to your seats or changing the seats might make you a happy camper. God knows you'll take a major loss selling your car. Just a thought. I'd be glad to help if I can.
