chevron = crappy, very bad throttle response

76 = brings smiles, car wants to boost hard.

shell = boost hard, makes my car loud.

15 gallons x $0.30 = $4.50 / fillup.

How often do you fill up? Three times a month? That's only $13.50 a month you'll be saving by putting Costco gas in your tank.

I waste more than $13.50/month on eating too many plate lunches.

I'd feel more comfortable knowing I put the good stuff in the tank and was out $13.50 for the month.

Then again - who is to say that Costco's gas will be crap?

Hmmm...

As for Chevron gas, I filled up with that gas with my 1991 Mits Eclipse GSX AWD and the turbo just hated it- lag and loss power. You guys should try 2 tanks of Shell gas, it makes turbos happy. This is from my own experience. I heard 76 is good also.

Tesoro gas sucks...

No WRX deserves to be treated like **** with under 92 octane unless thats the only option.

Richard's right about using good gas ........ saving $13 is Not worth detonation.

and the gas that is used on-base is not Tesoro's 'normal' blend, ... it's even cheaper. Remember, just b/c it comes from the same refinery, doesn't mean it is prepared the same.

... and yes, many of us have used toluene or xylene regularly.

I liked Chevron for a looooong time.....too bad my STI doesn't love it like I do.

STI didnt have much love for 76 for a couple tanks either....but now I have the LEAST amount of audible det with 76...but notice how I said least

I thought it was gone since it had been a month or two since I last heard it.....until a wot run in 4th from 3.5-5k yesterday morning....she decided to play with a few bbs again And that was the coolest outdoor temps my cars seen since birth....and down hill!!!!
