I've only seen aloha trucks at costco gas stations. I only put that gas in my ford.

Aloha ships it's gas in as well.

Don't know about Tesoro and Shell.
Cheveron and Tesoro have refineries locally.

You must not be trying hard enough

Or maybe you just havent noticed it.....try cruising at 4k in 3rd or 4th (like when you really need to get on an onramp ) and set on it....let me know what you here.....might sound like a handful of BBs....might sound like 1 or 2 bouncing.

Who knows... maybe STIs like crappy dirty Aloha juice

okay debate over

i think gas is mostly in our minds... after talking with three service techs@ all 3 subie dealers... gas is gas is gas is gas is gas.... according to all three... the only time you will notice a huge difference is if u run a totally bad grade like 87. grant it some gas does seem to be bad.... but it is mostly by chance. i sell subies @ kaneohe subaru and this is what i found... STi(s) are recommended with 93 or higher...but they wont advertise that 'cuz there aren't any(if any) gas stations with that grade....

besides... i just don't like that orange ball!!

Hmm...I just switched over to 76 from Chevron.

I'm still running my stage 4 with 800cc injectors and stck ecu. My idle quatlity has changed dramatically.

When I was using Chevron, my idle was rough and the car died every so often while at a stop.

Now that I am using 76, my idle is closer to normal than it ever has been since installing the 800cc injectors. This also includes the time I had my Xede!

Maybe it's just coincident, but I'm convinced that the gas has something to do with it.

I think subjective things like idle, smoothness of acceleration, etc may be in your head...but audible det isnt Either you hear it or you dont. You must remember that octane rating at the pump is a minimum rating....therefore it could be possible that some brands provide a little more cushion...but this is all speculation.

I think I just need to undertake a 6 month study and see how it goes...
