Motor oil poll
Looking at some options for a new oil. I have been running redline for the last 3 oil changes but would like to see everyone else's choices here in hawaii's climate. If my option is not posted above, please post up and add your fluid of choice.

Been usin Mobil 1 5w-30 or 10w-30 for about 5 years.. but apparently there's been some bull**** at Mobil..
I've been doing a little bit of research.. supposedly Redline and Amsoil is great, but theres no real reviews on Rotella T. I've been using Rotella 5w-40 for about a year on my 1.8L Impreza and it seems to be doing a great job.

- Chris, I downloaded a spreadsheet chart of the different types of oil out in the consumers area and has some detailed breakdowns of its viscosity and other stuffs. Just gotta look for it on my hard drive, I can PM you it when i find it.
I have been having some serious issues with oil consumption on my sti... Currently undergoing an oil consumption test from the dealership to see if my motor is blown, they insist that I use 15-40, have been running 10w-30 mobil one for years. but After all this I am switching to redline or amsoil. And the engine does feel a bit better with a 40 weight oil
I recently switched from Mobil1 5w-30 to M1 10W-30 and my massive oil consumption got much, much better. I think I will be sticking with M1 10W-30 for a while, the motor feels much healthier and it has minimized blowby for myself at least.
