Modifying your car: Why do you do it?
I mod my car because it is the only thing I'm willing to spend money on it.
I mod my car because I love it, even if I drive like a gran-pa.
I mod my car because I want to make it cool and different from other peoples.
Even tho I promess I will not mod my next car... well I did it anyway... /gasp

for my car, it was and still is fun and rewarding. all the cuts, sweat, and poor diet was worth it. i know my car no longer has the creature comforts of the modern daily driven car, but it sure has the potential to meet or even exceed the performance of the cars of new. like i said, i would kill to come out to auto-x but the wife can only support me so far in what i enjoy. i'd like to see where my car stands and find improvements, even without AWD.
Y'all will have fun alright... laughing your *** off at me! I'd much rather be branded a lifetime noob so that I have an excuse for multiple DNF's and excessive cone munching.
hahahaha. I do it just for the excitement of buying something new. I'm not into clothes or music or sports, so modding the car is my release. When I had the wagon, the power mods were more to just see what extra HP could be released. Plus, I love the way a modded Suby sounds.

And the excitement that comes when you are updating your Fedex/UPS tracking page every 5 minutes to see when your package arrives, then getting your parts and putting it in right away. Ah. The feeling.

AT&T upgrade period depends on your bill. For example:
$80-100/mo bills will allow you to upgrade a new phone at 18months
100+ at 12 months, etc.
That's why almost all iPhone 3G users can upgrade in December but some can already upgrade now.
