for the millionth time...recon question

i haven't seen it yet but...umm... everyone says the license plate has to be 12inches from the ground... how do you move it up... my plate is at like 11 and a little more... thanks for the help

You can make a bracket that brings it up an inch, or you can buy the bracket from Napa (rtakashi) has one on his car. Finally the other option is you can mount the license plate on the bump via the holes at the bottom of the plate, looks funny but it passes.

+1 for the napa bracket, it moves it up about 2 inches. They have em at larry's auto in waialae where I picked mine up.

yup...it work real good, thanks to sykosis for telling me about the bracket....
they also have the same bracket at checkers...

If your just going to raise your plate to pass the recon test.... mount your plate on the bottom holes....it looks weard,but it just for the test...once you pass, put it back the way it was.....I did it to get my recon,the recon guys told me I can do that.......but....there's always the chance you'll run into a "dick" cop and he'll bust out a ruler on you during a pull over....
