Hey everybody - this is just old news as Pat has already posted a reference to this in his thread - but...

Wes ran his 12.9 tonight! There are now two official 12-second WRX's on this rock.

Jayson was the first (and his mph is still the fastest!) at 12.9 ~106(?)mph.

Wes was only a couple of months behind with his personal best 12.9 tonight at 102+ mph. He's run ~103.5 before - so I think the car has some left in it.

I am thoroughly digusted with my WRX's performance - but the new concrete launching pad at HRP must be doing some good as I cut a freakishly good 1.755 60' in the tower lane. Talk about bat out of hell!

Tuning UTEC boost is a BIZNATCH. I'm gonna go throw my JoeP back on the car now. Yes, now - it's only 2:24am.

Good on you Wes and great progression Pat! You're going to be right behind Jay and Wes soon!

Oh, and Ed beat me down the 1/4 mile again. Man, I hate racing you. You always beat me.

I didn't tell you, but because of the hard work you did for me, I had a conversation with Saint Michael and Saint Maurice and they said, "Hmmm, you want your friend to break into the 12's at the dragstrip....hell's yeah. We'll see what we can do."

...so whether you needed it or not, you had some help.

Anyway, sorry I bailed out on the track last night. Once again the wife and I sat down and had a long chat. We do that a lot, lately. It's all good stuff, but it stopped me from going to the track (only bad thing about it).

Next week. Friday. Saturday I'll be running around the island... literally.
