Little accident on the dyno...

2006 STi on the Dyno, The exhaust melted through the strap and sent the STi flying forward. Poor STi

i thought i was going to see something worse like the sti smashing into a wall but i guess the car stalled out after it left the rollers because it was in what 4th gear?

Yeah nothing terrible there, good thing.

Although I may agree with some of the posters on that vid; I don't think I buy the strap having a hole burnt through. Just can't imagine a shop having an in-ground dyno with that kind of shatty straps.

Looks like the fellas running the dyno only had 2 straps in the back, The exhaust most likely didn't melt the strap, the driver side rear mounting point failed.
