Car Info: 2004 Subaru STI/WRX Silver of course
Well put Greg about the mainland if you were where I am your car getting stolen would be the last thing on your mind I can honestly say I have seen maybe 5 WRX's and one STI and they were all on base I was telling some people at a party about my STI and they were clueless. Now if you have a tricked out 4x4 that would get taken first. I don't think vehicle theft is a big crime here where I am at. I think we all have a lot to be thankful for right now a co-worker has a brother stationed in Mississippi and he had to leave because his base house was under water and they are letting people that were stationed down there live temp in the empty houses on the base here so everybody be thankful you are not one of those people. I had to g stupid she was *****in about I told here why don't she thank about somebody besides herself and maybe pray for the people who lost every thing, all the displaced people and pets....Everybody always forgets about all the pets that got left behind they don't worry about them some old lady who only had her pet now might have nobody...Sorry I like animals....Everybody just needs to grow up a little and get along drink some beer cook some grub and chill.

The more people that come here form the mainland with expectations on how they want to live in hawaii makes it a problem for the local residents here. of course I'm not talking about the military folks just the people that think that they own the place when they come here then eventually live here and create little versions of their ownselves that have the same believe to corrupt our beautiful island!!!

gdogg, I think you guys do a great job on the site, and the general attitudes on here are pretty darn good. Negativety is something that unfortunately will plague all automotive forums sites from time to time, but thankfully it passes as well.
I don't drive a Suby, but am a big fan of them, and I love to catch up with what the local Subaru community is doing from time to time on here. Keep up the great work!

now, to the "maturity issue." i must agree, i was raised in a strict household where respect to elders and those deserving was paramount. and i like how when i came here and visited some of yall at home, i see that same principle. America needs more people and families like yall. i think its amazin that some of you guys 19/20+ years old still livin with mom and dad. back in the states that makes you a loser, but i think its awesome that you are still willin to live with your parents and help out and whatnot. i WISH i could still live at home...my mom needs it. im ranting, im sorry. point made.
